In 2005 their debut release on Ninja Tune, a remix of Coldcut’s “Everything is under control” had massive support from Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, 1Xtra’s Crissy Criss, Andy C, Pendulum, as well as making it into Pendulum and Coldcut’s Radio 1 Essential mixes. If crossing genres between rock music and club music was the
only task The Qemists had ever set themselves, their work
would be done with their new single. When living legend Mike
Patton heard "Lost Weekend" he offered his considerable
talents on the spot. And not since the days of Faith No More
has he delivered such a raw, unadulterated piece of rock
vocallry.
But The Qemists do much more than just join the dots between
two genres. The style of "Lost Weekend" accelerates from
