NFO is that THIS IS DiSC 2 of the original 3 Disc set (The original set has the main feature
(Disc 1), and 2 bonus discs (Discs 2 and 3)). It is complete, but was renamed because disc 1, part
2 was merged with the original disc 3 and renamed to disc 2.
Ok enough is enough, some of you nukers are getting a little out of hand. There is nothing
fake about our bitrates, so either show us where in the x-tdrs that it is specified that our
bitrate should be taken from 24 fps film material (aka 'store' or 'encode' bitrate), or quit
the bs. What's even worse is that if you actually took the time to plug in the numbers manually
into CCE, you know, the official encoder that all xxx-dvdr groups claim to use, our numbers for
ntsc video are spot on. Use the 'store' or so called 'encode' bitrate and you get an undersized vid
every time when the material is not film. We would say that it's kind of ironic that the 'encode'
bitrate would give you an undersized output, but it's actually spot on to anyone who has any clue of
what the numbers mean. We've said it once and we'll say it again, not even the author of dvdrebuilder
supports 'store' bitrate, it's just not accurate and a gross misunderstanding of what the value means
as it relates to dvd rebuilder. It would be like encoding an xvid that was ntsc
video, then forcing an improper ivtc then taking the bitrate value at 24 fps, which no one in their
right mind would do, but hardly anyone seems to question this practice in xxx-dvdr. Maybe some of
you are best suited to nuke hollywood movies, where most of the material is film anyway. If it is
a question of quality at the given bitrates, take it up with the rules committee and get the rules
changed to have a minimum bitrate according to film type, don't nuke a vid based on rules which
aren't in print (as far as we know). After all the xvid scene figured out a long time ago that having
mininimum run times per CD for FILM, PAL, and NTSC wasn't such a bad idea. A one size fits all approach
doesn't make for very good rules, especially when it isn't even specified in the fine print.
