| Since January 2009, Wormland Music directly links innovative |
| German mens fashion label Wormland with modern electronic music. |
| The Sweetest Taboo Vol. 1 now steps forward as the first |
| release on sublabel Wormland White. Corresponding with the |
| glamorously stylish performance of the fashion brand, compilation |
| series The Sweetest Taboo has an irresistible sexy touch, |
| designed by German producer DJ Red Buddha. |
| |
| Inspired by artists such as Talvin Singh and Nitin Sawney, Red |
| Buddha so far has gained considerable reputation with ethno |
| crossover albums like Siddharta in Space or China Exotic, |
| where he managed to blend traditional instruments with electronic |
| sounds. After long journeys around the world, he finds perfect |
| relaxation on the music blessed island of Ibiza. This balearic |
| mood is mirrored on his first selection for Wormland White. |
| Animating and easy-going, he strings together 13 stimulating |
| tracks, with excursions into latin vibes, chill house grooves, |
| bossa sounds, reggae flavours and relaxed trip hop beats. Titles |
| such as Sunbather or Beautiful Day soon clarify that facing |
| this diversity one aspect is key: listen, and you will feel the |
| sunshine, feel good and ready to flirt. |

| As perfect appetizer, Mocas Latein serves the first hit. Its |
| languorous latin grooves, casual chords of a jazz guitar and |
| playful electronic sounds make it feel like slowly sipping some |
| Rum-flavoured South American coffee. Stimulated as you are, you |
| will be carried away on the airy cloud of Jazzamors Beautiful |
| Days before you are cushioned again on the cosy sounds of Alien |
| Café. Their Chloé Says merge the smoothly rapped story of a |
| Canadian stripper with tender piano, string and flute sounds. |
| Sleek and supple, Prafuls One Day Deep follows suit. Head |
| nodding beats and a bewitching groove will cuddle in your soul. |
| Inbetween all these listening pearls, some beautiful cover |
| versions demand special attention. First comes flute player and |
| sound wizard Lenny Mac Dowell with his dreamy interpretation of |
| Aint No Sunshine. Then, Dubdiver clothe reggae original |
| Shine in some fascinating downbeat padded with Asian |
| Underground sounds. Last but not least, renowned German jazz |
| pianist, programmer and producer Christoph Spendel calls forth |
| Lisa Shaw to turn Sunny into an appealing jazz ballad with |
| cocktail groove. |
| Among the further highlights is Hungary-based Pluto Projects |
| Worldwide, equipped with heavy slow-motion beats, trip hop |
| sounds and dubby vocals, the jazz house offering Dr. Albert by |
| Italian project Decò and the bitter-sweet pop ballad Sunbather |
| by German band Sphere. Here, closer listening surprisingly |
| reveals quotes of Airs masterpiece Moon Safari embedded among |
| the feathery chords of an acoustic guitar. |
| Right after Noctemias concluding track The summer cools down, |
| there is only one thing left to do: Choose your perfect outfit |
| and hit the next cocktail bar. With the sounds of this |
| outstanding compilation ringing in your ears, you have |
| irresisible flirt potential reflecting in your eyes. The beauties |
| of the night will gladly surrender to the promise of your |
| sweetest taboo. |
