The latest version of Guilty Gear XX has arrived from overseas, fully translated courtesy of Aksys! While containing no major gameplay changes, this disc is full of added bonus content any Guilty Gear fan will enjoy!
This disc adds (on top of the original Accent Core game):
* 2x 'new' characters! (Kliff and Justice, who were excluded from Accent Core)
* The return of Mission Mode
* New survival mode (level up your character in different areas while doing the usual survival gig)
* New Gallery content
* A new Story Mode (Yes, you read correctly! Arc Systems continued on the GGXX storyline with a total of 350 selectable paths/scenarios.)
* 3v3 Battles! (This was a feature originally only on the PSP version of AC+, but it just so happens the US PS2 release has it as well!)
As said above, this disc isn't terribly important for any new mechanics to the existing gameplay. (I'm guessing the tournament scene will continue to use the original Accent Core for that matter, but could easily be mistaken) However, it does have an awful lot of extra, fun content that fans of the series will get a kick out of!
