Резюме: “Властелинът на пръстените: Двете кули” започва сред хълмовете на Емин Муил, където изгубилите пътя хобити Фродо (Илайджа Ууд) и Сам (Шон Остин) откриват, че са преследвани от загадъчния Ам-гъл и успяват да го пленят. Странното създание, завладяно от мисълта за пръстена, обещава да заведе хобитите до Черните порти на Мордор, ако го освободят.
